SteamOS 3.0 on your Desktop PC

Hey all..

Although I am not a fan of gaming on Linux, yet, I have found news of a Custom user made fork of the Steam Deck's SteamOS 3.0 made for Desktop and maybe Laptop PCs, aptly named HoloISO..

Quote:Note : Don't ask me for support, nor expect any guides from myself. I am just reporting my findings. Just let me know your experience in the comments...

The project is young, only supports Intel & AMD GPUs, no nVidia support yet, and I think Valve will counter this with a more Official version at some point. Maybe at this point I might give it a try. Who knows maybe gaming on Linux will replace Windows on my machine..

The above guide is the best one I could find. Try it, and if you have any issues, head on over to the HoloISO project's Github below and report them there.. My recommendation is not to use this on production machine but on a test one.

I do try to help where I can, when I can.
I do this on my own, so I might not have all the answers.
