Ricing KDE Plasma
#1
Video
Hey all..

I found a video, a bit dated but still valid today, showing you how to "Rice" your KDE Plasma making it look just the way you want. It's quite simple, but if you are a detail freak like I am it can get tedious at times..

As you can see, it's not only easy, but it's fun too. You learn a lot along the way.. If you want to backup your final rice, I would recommend you take notes of what packages you used along with themes and icons, then backup your ~/.config and ~/.local folders then restore on new install..

If you want to know what files contain ricing information check link below...

Enjoy Wink

I do this on my own, so I might not have all the answers.

May be add step by step instructions for Kvantum. I just did a fresh install of Manjaro on the second half of this drive, use the git repository to install Layan, but can seem to get the hang of Kvantum to theme apps like GParted.

Kvantum only applies to QT apps not GTK ones like GParted... That's why themes come separate... KDE and GTK...
