[Solved] DDCUtil bug & how to fix !
Hey all !
It was reported to me that there currently is a bug with DDCUtil a package/daemon related to the power management applet causing it to continuously crash. After doing some research on the matter I have found a temporary solution posted on the Arch Forums I will post it here just in case...
- If you have not cleared your Pacman Cache just do this :
- If you have cleared your Pacman Cache do this :
Select version 2.0.0-1 and add it to ignore list for now..

sudo pacman -U /var/cache/pacman/pkg/ddcutil-2.0.0-1-x86_64.pkg.tar.zst- If you have cleared your Pacman Cache do this :
yay or paru -S --noconfirm downgrade
sudo downgrade ddcutilSelect version 2.0.0-1 and add it to ignore list for now..
