xerolinux_repo.db
#1

Hello,
I am trying to update via the terminal and I am getting receiving the following message:

xerolinux_repo.db failed to download
error: failed retrieving file 'xerolinux_repo.db' from repos.xerolinux.xyz : The requested URL returned error: 404
error: failed to synchronize all databases (unexpected error)

I am wondering if there is a mirror list I can try updating or any other suggestion.

Thanks

I have just updated the mirror list with the following commands:

First I installed reflector
sudo pacman -S reflector

Next I listed the countries
reflector --list-countries

Then I modified the reflector.conf file to add my country
sudo vim /etc/xdg/reflector/reflector.conf

Added this line with my country at the end:
--country 'YOUR COUNTRY','OR COUNTRIES'

I then enabled it and started it
sudo systemctl enable reflector.service reflector.timer
sudo systemctl start reflector.service reflector.timer

Then I started it right away
sudo systemctl start reflector.service

Then verified everything ran and updated in the list correctly
cat /etc/pacman.d/mirrorlist

Since it looks like everything is set, I tried the update in the terminal again... Same issue:

:: Synchronizing package databases...
core is up to date
extra is up to date
community is up to date
multilib is up to date
xerolinux_repo.db failed to download
xerolinux_repo_xl is up to date
error: failed retrieving file 'xerolinux_repo.db' from repos.xerolinux.xyz : The requested URL returned error:
404
error: failed to synchronize all databases (unexpected error)

Any ideas?

Even after trying this I still can update / install the os, I say install because I try on a secondary drive and I still get the error, even after trying the guide.

Grab latest ISO it's fixed there... Was updated a while back.. Sorry... Also this only works if OS is already installed... Not in Live....
